Remco Bikkers is a New York–based cinematographer with over 20 years of experience capturing vérité documentaries, current affairs, and cause-driven stories around the world. Originally from the Netherlands, he’s known for discreet handheld camera work, natural light, and the ability to find powerful images in unpredictable situations.
From war zones to Wall Street, Remco has filmed in more than 40 countries, adapting to everything from major broadcast crews to solo field work. His work often explores social and economic issues, with an approach rooted in trust, empathy, and visual storytelling that resonates.
He has filmed for Vice, Netflix, Arte, VPRO, NPO, Deutsche Welle, RTL and major brands including Puma, Lenovo, Verizon, and Charles Schwab.
